From your accountant
Yako, in one page.
Books that work in every country you do. Your accountant recommends it because it keeps your books current and traceable, and lets them work in them for exactly the job you agree.
What Yako does
You upload the statements your bank already gives you, as PDF, CSV or Excel. Any bank, no feed needed. Yako reads every line.
Each line is coded, by you, your team or Yako’s Bookkeeper agent, and a person approves it. Only then is it posted, with the approver’s name on it.
Your trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and the tax you owe come from that posted ledger, in your currency, under your country’s tax rules.
What it costs
$49 per company per month, with everyone included: your whole team, your in-house accountant and any outside adviser or auditor. No per-person charge. 15 days free with no card; the trial ends without a charge.
Worked example: 5 people, 2 companies, 3 currencies: $98 a month. Not $49 × 5. Prices are set per country; see www.yakobooks.com/pricing for yours.
How to invite your accountant
- Open your company in Yako and go to Settings → Engagements.
- Enter their email address and pick the kind of work: bookkeeping, tax, audit or advisory.
- Set the period of the books they may see and the last day of access. Yako pre-selects what they may do: export reports, and propose journal entries for you to ratify.
- Send it. They accept with their own Yako login. On the end date their access stops on its own.
What you’ll see while they work
Every proposal, export and note in the audit trail, with a name and a time. Reports you can open at any moment. Nothing changes in your books until someone on your team ratifies it.
What you still decide
Every approval. Which months are locked. Who on your team can code and who can approve. When the engagement ends. Your data exports to CSV or Excel at any time and is never used to train AI.
