About Yako

Yako is a product of Casia Growth Lab LLC, a company in Dubai. Casia Growth Lab LLC is part of Casia Lab, a product studio (casialab.com) that also makes Casia Suite.Casia Growth Lab LLC is the company that signs our customer contracts and our agreements with the providers Yako runs on.

You may also see Yako written as Yakobooks, after our web address. Both names mean the same product. Yako is not connected to Yako Bank in Uganda or to any other business with a similar name.

Most owners we build for already pay an accountant or a bookkeeper. They are not short of help. What they are short of is a fast, trustworthy answer to a simple question: how am I doing? The numbers live in bank apps, spreadsheets, email threads and paper receipts. Putting them together takes days, so the answer usually arrives weeks after the month it describes.

That delay matters more in some places than others. In the UAE and Nigeria, getting VAT, corporate tax or payroll tax wrong carries real penalties, and the rules have changed recently. An owner who only finds out what they owe when a deadline is close has very little room to act.

So we started with those two markets. Yako handles UAE VAT and Corporate Tax and the Nigeria Tax Act 2025, and it works for businesses anywhere, in all African currencies and in AED, USD, GBP, EUR and others. The people we build for typically run a service or trading business of 5 to 50 people, often with more than one legal entity.
